Jay has a professional recording and touring career stretching back to the early 1980′s including work with artists such as BadFinger, Hurricane, Unruly Child, ASIA, Chris Squire (Yes), Tony Kaye (Yes), Billy Sherwood (Yes), CIRCA:, Conspiracy and ASIA Featuring John Payne.

Besides a long and varied rock drumming career, Jay also teaches, having published a drum instruction book and also has recording studio.
